Facilities Services Manager (GCC) – Bedfordview

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facilities Services Manager to oversee the full technical component of commercial and retail properties in Bedfordview. The role covers air‑conditioning, electrical systems, lifts, generators, elevators and related services, ensuring smooth, efficient and effective operation. The manager must hold a GCC certification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage air‑conditioning, electrical, lifts, generators, elevators and other technical services across the portfolio.
• Contribute to the annual expense budget, control monthly expenses and oversee purchase orders through the Helpdesk.
• Maintain the stock register, issue and complete work orders, and procure stock from authorized suppliers within budget limits.
• Prepare and approve annual budget plans and quarterly forecasts for technical, operational and utility services.
• Compile a five‑year rolling maintenance plan aligned with core strategies.
• Oversee tenant and staff management, conduct audits, manage service providers and drive sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Pass the OSHACT exam (for degree holders) or hold a Government Compliance Certificate (for diploma holders).
• 7–10 years of experience in technical roles with emphasis on electrical, mechanical and electronics, preferably in large‑scale retail, commercial or industrial property environments.
