About the role
We are seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our property portfolio in Durban. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities are maintained to high standards, supporting both tenants and the broader business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage property and facilities operations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Oversee contractor relationships and coordinate security services.
- Direct maintenance, safety, and housekeeping activities.
- Liaise with tenants, addressing queries and service requests promptly.
- Monitor risk, compliance, and health‑and‑safety standards.
- Handle finance and administrative duties related to facilities.
- Supervise and develop facilities staff.
Required profile
- Matriculation (or equivalent) with basic computer literacy.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar facilities or property management role.
