Facilities Coordinator – Riverfields DryGoods

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator will oversee all maintenance activities at the Riverfields DryGoods distribution centre. This full‑time, onsite position ensures the facility remains safe, operational and compliant with all standards.

Key responsibilities

• Report and coordinate repair of damaged racking, sprinklers, floor rails, doors, dock levelers and lighting.
• Arrange replacement of signage and ensure line painting inside the DC/RC.
• Manage on‑site contractors and oversee landscaping improvements.
• Conduct inspections of valve chambers, pump rooms, diesel pumps, ventilation, grey‑water plant, gas monitoring system and generators to verify correct settings and operational status.
• Issue order numbers for services and goods, obtain quotes and verify rates/discounts.
• Perform ad‑hoc repairs in the yard, including barriers, paving, fencing and curbs.

Required profile

• Experience in facility or warehouse maintenance.
• Ability to report damages and coordinate repairs promptly.
• Competence in inspecting mechanical and electrical systems and ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Capability to manage external contractors on site.
