External Sales Representative – Printing Industry

About the role

We are seeking an external sales professional to promote our range of printing products to new and existing customers in the Cape Town area. The role involves building relationships, generating orders and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Service new and existing customers, obtain orders and establish new accounts.
• Prepare sales presentations tailored to different customer types and product portfolios.
• Analyse customer volume and buying potential to focus sales efforts.
• Submit orders using price lists and product literature.
• Provide regular activity reports and territorial analyses to management.
• Monitor competition and gather market pricing information.
• Resolve customer complaints and make recommendations to management.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and maintain client accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven sales experience with a record of achievement.
• Experience in the printing technology industry is an advantage.
• Highly computer literate and motivated.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

What we offer

• Salary range: R15 000 – R20 000.
• Office‑based role in Cape Town.
