External Sales Representative – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for an External Sales Representative to drive business growth in the mining and industrial sectors across Johannesburg and surrounding areas. The role involves building strong client relationships, providing technical advice, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the mining and industrial sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue sales.
• Provide technical advice and product support to customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Compile sales reports and provide market feedback to management.
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Required profile

• 3–5 years' proven external sales experience, preferably within the mining or overhead crane industry.
• Strong technical understanding of industrial products or services.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and passionate about sales.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Johannesburg South and surrounding areas.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.
