External Sales Representative – Building Materials (Centurion, Gauteng)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, solutions‑driven External Sales Representative to drive growth and promote a premium range of specialized clay masonry, tile, and wall cladding products across the Gauteng region. Working on the road and visiting sites, you will build relationships with site managers, architects, interior/exterior designers, and developers, playing a key role in expanding market presence in the building and construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Visit construction sites, offices, and retail stores to promote specialized product ranges and build strong relationships with decision‑makers.
• Manage retail stock levels, run in‑store promotions, and resolve on‑site customer complaints promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM/ERP system for sales tracking, forecasting and work closely with warehouse and yard teams to ensure correct packaging and timely dispatch.
• Drive territory growth through proactive multitasking, administrative oversight, and hands‑on client consultation throughout the full sales cycle.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience within the construction, brick, building‑material, or related industry.
• High school diploma or tertiary qualification.
• South African citizen residing in Pretoria or Centurion area.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle for the first three months.
• Strong computer literacy with ERP/CRM experience advantageous, excellent problem‑solving ability and high energy under pressure.

What we offer

• Starting base salary of R32,000 per month.
• Company vehicle provided after three months of successful employment.
