About the role
As an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead OBR, you will drive sales performance within the assigned area by applying proven processes, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service. You will work in a dynamic environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Apply appropriate sales processes to achieve individual targets and grow the client portfolio.
- Retrieve qualified leads from the internal sales pipeline, contact existing or new customers, and generate sales.
- Source additional leads through external contacts and other channels to expand the customer base.
- Manage the end‑to‑end client journey: engage prospects, present the FNB value proposition, facilitate applications, prepare proposals, coordinate internal dependencies, close deals and handle post‑sale queries.
- Maintain expert knowledge of banking products, pricing, application procedures, and timelines.
- Analyse competitor information, monitor market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with governance, legislation, and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Completed FSCA‑recognized FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
- Completed First Level Regulatory Examination.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and cross‑sell within a portfolio.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs to design tailored solutions.
- Commitment to delivering service that exceeds client expectations.
