Experienced Sales Representative – FMCG Snacks (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Experienced Sales Representative to expand the market presence of our client’s snack products across South Africa. This remote position involves frequent travel, relationship building, and proactive market development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential importers and distributors for snack products.
• Conduct market research to uncover sales opportunities and evaluate distributor capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
• Ensure smooth distribution of products into target markets.

Required profile

• Existing connections in the snack industry (essential).
• Three or more years of experience in sales, sales support, or sales operations, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Goal‑driven, resilient, and proactive in seeking opportunities.
• Willingness to travel extensively (60%+ across South Africa).
• South African residency.
