Executive Associate – Insurance

About the role

Capitec is seeking an energetic Executive Associate to support the Executive of Insurance. This high‑potential role offers a front‑row seat to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic initiatives across the insurance division.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive: Insurance to shape and execute divisional strategy.
• Drive strategic projects from concept through implementation, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct research, analysis, and problem‑solving to inform executive decisions.
• Develop executive presentations, reports, business cases, and discussion papers.
• Support business planning, budgeting, and performance‑management processes.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and lead their implementation.
• Act as a trusted advisor and representative when engaging senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of professional experience in insurance, financial services, consulting, strategy, business operations, project management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Commercial acumen, learning agility and a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification.
