About the role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client’s team in Sandton. The role involves delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects and supporting the bid process.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
- Analyse project specifications, quantify materials and labour, and develop competitive bids.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure estimates align with company objectives.
Required profile
- National Diploma (minimum qualification).
- At least 5 years’ on‑site experience in civil construction.
- At least 5 recent years’ experience in estimating civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and labour rates.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with estimating software.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
