Entry-Level Salesperson – Retail (Goodwood, Western Cape)

About the role

Pepkor Lifestyle – HiFi Corp is looking for an entry‑level Salesperson to join its N1 City business unit in Goodwood, Western Cape. The role is focused on generating sales, meeting targets and delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment. Candidates should be motivated, target‑driven and comfortable engaging directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales through proactive customer engagement and product recommendation.
• Achieve assigned sales and income targets.
• Attract and retain customers by providing a high‑level service experience.
• Maintain product merchandising standards on the shop floor.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately following company procedures.
• Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 7–12 months of sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Teamwork, interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working towards sales goals.
