About the role

As an entry‑level Associate at Boston Consulting Group you will begin your consulting career by joining client‑facing teams in Johannesburg. You will work on real business challenges from day one, applying BCG’s problem‑solving methodology to help organisations grow and create impact.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyse client data and develop actionable insights.
• Support the formulation of recommendations and contribute to client presentations.
• Apply structured problem‑solving approaches to complex business problems.
• Continuously learn consulting techniques through on‑the‑job training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Curious, adaptable and eager to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and local language(s); South African citizenship or permanent residency preferred.
