Enterprise Business Development Executive

About the role

The Enterprise Business Development Executive will drive new revenue by identifying and securing enterprise clients for Teraco’s data centre services. You will build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers, communicate the Teraco value proposition, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales target plan, identifying high‑value prospects.
• Establish relationships with key contacts and educate them on Teraco’s offering.
• Produce joint marketing activities such as events and case studies.
• Support daily client interactions and manage the sales pipeline.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets while reporting progress to management.
• Network within the ICT industry, attend conferences, and travel across South Africa as needed.
• Create strategic account plans, conduct regular client reviews, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and negotiate service terms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ICT sales, especially cloud, networks and IT services.
• Established network of contacts within the ICT sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of engaging C‑suite and board level stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with RFP processes and closing complex deals.
