Enterprise Architecture Manager

About the role

Europ Assistance, part of the Generali Group, is undergoing a group‑wide transformation of its information systems across more than 30 countries. The Enterprise Architecture Manager will act as the guardian of architectural coherence, ensuring the new AI‑native, scalable and secure IS aligns with Group standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance of Europ Assistance’s IS architecture with Generali Group standards, regulations and GIRS requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical interlocutor for Generali architecture reviews, audits and reporting.
• Define and maintain the target Group IS architecture and road‑maps that simplify, standardise and scale the landscape.
• Lead legacy de‑commissioning strategy, managing retirements while preserving business continuity.
• Embed AI as a core component of the architecture, co‑creating integration patterns and governance with the Group AI Office.
• Produce architecture deliverables required for Generali validation (architecture packs, cartographies, road‑maps, ADRs).

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within large, multi‑national organisations.
• Deep understanding of governance frameworks and ability to work with senior CIOs and Group‑level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of AI integration, data flows, APIs and model governance.
• Track record of designing scalable, secure and standards‑compliant IT landscapes.
