About the role
MHR is seeking Enrolled Nursing Auxiliaries (ENA) to provide hands‑on care in the ICU/High Care unit of a private hospital in Welkom, Free State. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care during part‑time shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties within the scope of practice as defined by the SANC.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal and company documentation standards.
- Monitor and manage stock and equipment in line with client policies.
- Identify, prevent and report any medico‑legal risks to safeguard patient safety.
Required profile
- Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
- Post‑qualification experience in ICU or High Care settings.
- Ability to demonstrate and assess relevant clinical procedures.
Required skills
- Competence in clinical procedures required for ICU/High Care.
