About the role

The Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary will provide safe, basic nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, working within the scope of practice. This role supports the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient care and a therapeutic environment.

Key responsibilities

Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in creating a therapeutic environment.
Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

Required profile

Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent).
No prior experience required; 1 year post‑qualification experience preferred.

Required skills

Infection prevention and control.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
