About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients on Ward F, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be accountable for your actions and omissions while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and ensure proper stock charging.
Uphold a therapeutic, clean and safe environment, adhering to waste‑management and occupational safety regulations.
Deliver patient care within your scope of practice, participating in handovers and quality‑improvement programmes.
Support the education and training of Enrolled Nursing Assistants and act in a supervisory capacity when required.
Report equipment issues, manage supplies, and ensure proper cleaning and storage of medical equipment.

Required profile

Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse.
Compliance with the SANC code and all applicable health‑care legislation.
Relevant experience in nursing, preferably in a hospital ward setting.
