Enrolled Nurse – Trauma (Kimberley, Northern Cape)

About the role

Glasshouse Recruiting is seeking an Enrolled Nurse specialised in trauma care to join a hospital team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role involves delivering safe, high‑quality patient care in line with hospital standards while supporting both direct and indirect nursing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Contribute to holistic patient care and promote health and wellbeing.
• Ensure a therapeutic, clean and safe environment free from medico‑legal hazards.
• Attend handover meetings at the start of each shift.
• Participate in the unit’s quality‑improvement programmes.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care.
• Refer patient or doctor complaints to the Sister‑in‑Charge.
• Complete departmental duties assigned by supervisors within the required timeframes.

Required profile

• Registered Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
• Compliance with the SANC code and relevant health‑care legislation.
• Previous experience in trauma nursing.
• Computer literacy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts.
