Enrolled Nurse – Surgical (Kimberly, Northern Cape)

About the role

The Group is dedicated to creating healing environments for its community and seeks a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join the surgical unit in Kimberly, Northern Cape. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Unit Manager, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure a therapeutic, clean, and safe environment free from medico‑legal hazards.
• Contribute to holistic patient care and promote overall health and wellbeing.
• Participate in the unit’s quality‑improvement programme.
• Attend handover reports at the start of each shift.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care.
• Refer patient and doctor complaints to the sister‑in‑charge.
• Complete departmental duties assigned by supervisors within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Registered Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
• Compliance with SANC code and relevant healthcare legislation.
• Relevant nursing experience is an advantage.
• Computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work shifts according to operational needs.
