About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Netcare Garden City Hospital. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to individual patients or groups.
Collaborate with the supervising Registered Nurse to plan and initiate nursing regimes.
Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care programmes.
Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accountability for personal actions and omissions.

Required profile

Qualified Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration.
Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Commitment to professional accountability and high standards of patient care.

Required skills

Patient assessment and monitoring.
Care planning and implementation.
Evaluation of nursing programmes.
