About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide safe, quality nursing care in the obstetrics unit of Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt, working closely with a multi‑disciplinary team to support patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team.
Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential).
No prior experience required; 1 year post‑qualification experience preferred for specialised units.
Basic Life Support training and infection prevention & control knowledge.

Required skills

Basic life support.
Infection prevention and control.
Pharmacology.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Risk identification and nursing care planning.
