Enrolled Nurse – High‑Risk Populations

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will deliver high‑quality, person‑centered nursing care to high‑risk populations served by TB HIV Care. Working under the direct supervision of a Nurse Clinician, you will contribute to HIV and TB prevention and treatment programmes across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients at increased risk of HIV and TB, including adolescents, sex workers, and people who use drugs.
• Administer medications, monitor treatment adherence, and record clinical observations.
• Educate patients and communities on HIV/TB prevention, treatment, and healthy behaviours.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Registered Enrolled Nurse (South African Nursing Council).
• Interest or experience in HIV and TB care.
• Ability to work compassionately with vulnerable groups.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
