Enrolled Nurse – High Care (e/n)

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse (e/n) will provide high‑care nursing services at Netcare Garden City Hospital. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety and quality throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients in a high‑care environment.
• Carry out patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care programmes in line with the nursing regime planned by the Registered Nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and uphold high standards of care.

Required profile

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse (e/n) with registration in South Africa.
• Experience or strong interest in high‑care or acute care settings.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and be accountable for personal actions.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centred care.
