Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary – Gynecology/Urology/Vascular

About the role

The Life Flora Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary to join the Gynecology, Urology and Vascular ward. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care while supporting the multidisciplinary team in a private‑healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Observe patients during activities, identify special needs and promptly report any abnormal changes.
• Maintain a safe environment by removing hazards and reporting potential risks.
• Participate in in‑service education sessions and ongoing professional development.
• Assist in health education campaigns and community outreach programmes.
• Support rehabilitation processes in line with hospital standards to promote patient independence.

Required profile

• Registered Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• Current registration with the relevant professional/regulatory body.
• Willingness to work shifts as required by hospital operations.
• Understanding of the private healthcare sector is advantageous.
• Basic computer proficiency is a plus.
