About the role

We are looking for native or near‑native English speakers to help improve AI models by accurately transcribing short audio clips. This is a fully remote position based in South Africa, offering flexible scheduling so you can work whenever it suits you.

Key responsibilities

Listen to 5‑second English audio recordings and transcribe them verbatim.
Label and flag any audio issues such as background noise, cut‑offs, or unclear speech.
Follow provided transcription guidelines for punctuation, formatting, and audio tagging.

Required profile

Native or near‑native proficiency in English.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written language skills.
Ability to work independently with a reliable internet connection.

Required skills

No specific technical tools are required; a basic computer and internet access are sufficient.

What we offer

Compensation of $12.50 per hour.
Fully remote work with complete schedule flexibility.
