Engineering Learnership for People with Disabilities

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a motivated individual to join its Technical Learnership Programme, specifically designed for people living with disabilities. The role provides practical exposure to engineering testing within a rail and mobility environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing parts and sequences of test programmes according to defined test plans.
• Support testing sequences and document results following established procedures.
• Carry out diagnostic measures when deviations occur and help assess test outcomes.
• Analyse test sequences to identify improvement opportunities.
• Help implement required improvement measures and contribute to the systematic development of the quality‑assurance system.
• Assist in maintaining the testing manual.

Required profile

• Interest in electrical and/or mechanical technical environments.
• Willingness to support testing of interlocking systems and related peripheral equipment.
• Available Monday‑Thursday 7 am‑4 pm and Friday 7 am‑1 pm, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work.
• Must be a person living with a disability.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and eager to learn.
• Able to perform essential learnership duties with reasonable accommodation.
