Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Sandvik Rock Processing is seeking an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Mechanical Engineer to support customer‑specific design and engineering activities for screening and feeding machinery. You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team, delivering high‑quality solutions that meet defined customer and application requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for screening and feeding equipment.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the Teamcenter PLM system.
• Support regional engineering teams on ETO projects for the SM range of screens.
• Provide technical assistance throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with Sales and Production.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• 3–5 + years of experience in mechanical design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the crushing and screening industry is advantageous.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD design software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Experience using Teamcenter PLM for BOM management.
• Ability to design large welded structures and vibrating equipment.
