Employee Benefits Broker Consultant (KZN)

About the role

The Employee Benefits Broker Consultant will act as the primary liaison between Old Mutual Corporate and its broker network in KwaZulu‑Natal. You will be responsible for growing market share, retaining existing business and delivering sales targets through strong broker relationships and strategic business development.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Old Mutual Corporate products and services to brokers and their clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Support intermediaries in expanding their books of business with Old Mutual.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
• Deliver annual new‑business, growth and retention targets.
• Develop and execute intermediary account strategies and business plans.
• Conduct regular business reviews and manage performance against objectives.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities within existing portfolios.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting.

• Commercially focused professional with proven business development experience.

• Ability to influence intermediary behaviour and respond to market dynamics.
