Emergency First Responder – First Aid Level 3 (Part‑time)

About the role

MHR is seeking an experienced Emergency First Responder with a First Aid Level 3 qualification to provide on‑site medical support at events across Welkom, Free State. The role is part‑time and involves responding to medical incidents, ensuring the safety and well‑being of attendees.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate patient care in accordance with the Emergency First Responder (First Aid Level 3) scope of work.
• Assess and manage injuries or illnesses during events, providing appropriate first‑aid treatment.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and treatments administered.
• Coordinate with event organisers and emergency services as required.

Required profile

• Valid First Aid Level 3 (or equivalent Advanced First Aid) certification.
• Proven experience as an Emergency First Responder in an EMS environment.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medical services procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
