Electrician – On-site (Permanent)

About the role

The Electrician will provide electrical services, maintenance, repairs and replacements for all systems, infrastructure and equipment at the Mediclinic Medforum site. This on‑site, permanent position supports safe and reliable operation of the facility’s electrical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical electrical jobs within the locality.
• Carry out administration duties related to the technical function.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Coordinate work performed by on‑site contractors.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations.

Required profile

• NQF Level 4 electrical qualification with subjects such as Mathematics, Science/Industrial Electronics or Electro‑technology.
• Trade test certification: Electrical (3‑phase) with a Wireman’s licence (Installation Electrician 3‑phase).
• Code B driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a registered Installation Electrician 3‑phase.
• Preferred: more than 3 years of Mediclinic electrical experience.

• Mentoring of technical team members.
