About the role
The Electrical Draughtsperson at ACTOM Power Transformers creates accurate 2D electrical drawings for power transformers, supporting manufacturing by translating engineering specifications into production‑ready diagrams.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D electrical drawings for transformer serial numbers using AutoCAD.
- Ensure drawings adhere to company and customer formats and are issued on time to support production.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions as directed by the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
- Provide drawing information to internal project groups and redirect technical queries to the manager.
- Plan and prioritize daily drawing tasks to meet project deadlines.
Required profile
- N4 Technical Qualification focused on Electrical Draughting or equivalent.
- 5–8 years experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson.
- Proficiency with EPLAN, Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and maintain drawing quality.
