Electrical Draughtsman – Building Services (Cape Town)

About the role
Our client, a specialist in building industry projects, is seeking an Electrical Draughtsman to develop detailed electrical models and schematics for building services projects in Cape Town.
Key responsibilities
- Create 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce accurate 2D schematics and layout drawings with AutoCAD.
- Generate material take‑offs, panel schedules, and sizing data to support engineers.
- Route cable trays, conduits, and panels; position lighting fixtures, switches, and receptacles.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building and electrical safety codes.
Required profile
- Matric qualification; an Electrical Engineering qualification is advantageous.
- 2–5 years of experience on electrical building projects.
- Revit/CAD certification is preferred.
