EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful candidate will create high‑quality, cost‑effective drawing and modelling deliverables for electrical control and instrumentation projects across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue drawing deliverables, including transmittal notes.
• Interpret technical equipment data and incorporate it into design drawings.
• Maintain and improve drawing standards and document registers.
• Produce electrical, instrumentation and control deliverables such as P&IDs, single‑line diagrams, wiring diagrams and equipment arrangements.
• Develop layout drawings for small power, lighting, cableways and schematic diagrams.
• Specify equipment locations, racking, routing and instrument hookup details.
• Conduct site measurements, inspections and verify drawings for installation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation draughting.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, dedicated and able to work independently.
