Driver Operator – Supply Chain Operations

About the role
The Driver Operator will support the Supply Chain Operations Division by distributing stock items across directorates, ensuring safe transport and delivery of goods.
Key responsibilities
- Distribute stock items to various directorates as requested.
- Check all goods against delivery documents before loading.
- Obtain signatures for delivered goods.
- Supervise General Assistants during collection, delivery, and yard/store cleaning.
- Secure vehicles overnight and take responsibility for goods in transit.
- Pack, secure, and unload goods safely.
- Report vehicle defects to the Chief Storekeeper.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good running order.
- Operate a forklift daily.
Required profile
- Appropriate level of secondary education.
- Valid motor vehicle driving licence (Code EC) and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
