Driver – Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security & Nutrition

About the role

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security & Nutrition is seeking a reliable Driver to support departmental operations across all districts. Reporting to the Transport Officer, you will provide safe transportation for staff, handle official material movements, and ensure the fleet remains road‑worthy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive departmental staff on official trips as required.
• Collect and deliver official materials and documents.
• Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on assigned vehicles.
• Maintain an accurate daily logbook of mileage and vehicle use.
• Report upcoming servicing needs to the Transport Officer in advance.
• Wash the vehicle interior and exterior daily to keep it clean.

Required profile

• Minimum education: COSC/GCE PLUS Three.
• At least three (3) years of professional driving experience.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation and road safety awareness.
• Basic vehicle maintenance (oil checks, tire pressure, etc.).
• Logbook management and record‑keeping.
