Downstream Operator (Multiple Positions)

About the role

Join PepsiCo's production team as a Downstream Operator, responsible for ensuring smooth packaging operations and quality control on the line. You will work on a fast‑paced FMCG environment, supporting both local and export orders.

Key responsibilities

• Complete QC‑related checklists every 30 minutes and hourly.
• Verify that the correct daily order (local or export) is packed accurately.
• Operate the straw‑filling machine and attach straws to cartons.
• Monitor the multipacker to correctly cluster 6‑pack products and ensure sleeves are shrink‑wrapped.
• Check robotic pallet‑packing stations to confirm shrink‑wrapped sleeves are loaded properly.
• Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and report any problems.
• Perform safety and loss‑control activities.
• Provide relief coverage for the Filler Operator during breaks.

Required profile

• Matric (high‑school) qualification.
• Previous experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.

• EHS standards awareness.
