Director of Academics – Remote (2 Hour Learning)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based, AI‑enhanced learning system. The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to shape a scientifically rigorous model that doubles student learning velocity in just two hours a day.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic structures that translate learning‑science principles into actionable curriculum, motivation frameworks, and application development.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across multiple school teams.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into ecosystem assessments to identify bottlenecks and recommend targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback loops, and milestone accountability.
• Serve as the principal public representative at global forums, delivering keynotes and engaging with education authorities.

Required profile

• Proven track record of articulating and implementing a transformative academic vision with measurable outcomes.
• Hands‑on experience in learning science, including development of evidence‑backed programs and public advocacy.
• Strong operational leadership skills, capable of mentoring elite teams and diagnosing implementation gaps.
• Excellent communication abilities to represent the organization on the global stage.
