Digital Search Specialist – PPC & SEO (South Africa-Based)

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Search Specialist to boost our clients' online visibility through SEO and PPC, based in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day SEO activity across multiple client websites, including technical SEO recommendations, on‑page optimisation, metadata, internal linking and content improvements.
• Build, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, testing keywords, ads, audiences and landing pages while monitoring budgets, bids and performance.
• Apply AI‑generated (AIO) and GEO principles to improve visibility in AI‑influenced search results and support generative search experiences.
• Track performance using GA4, Google Search Console and advertising platforms, reporting KPIs and flagging issues or opportunities early.
• Collaborate within a cross‑functional pod, delivering agreed actions on time, contributing search insights and supporting continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience delivering SEO and PPC for B2B/B2C clients.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, GA4 and Google Search Console.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different client accounts with high attention to detail.
• Delivery‑focused, curious and proactive, comfortable working from defined strategies and processes.
• Calm, reliable and collaborative with effective communication across the organisation.
