Digital Ecosystem Consultant – Roster (South Africa)

About the role

This roster position is designed for consultants who want to support global digital transformation initiatives and help build inclusive digital ecosystems. Based in South Africa, you will work on a variety of strategic assignments that accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on technology trends, digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, and policy developments.
• Develop strategic deliverables such as reports, frameworks, roadmaps, playbooks, guidelines, and recommendations.
• Support readiness assessments, gap analyses, and case studies to identify opportunities for digital growth.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship programs at national, regional, or international levels.
• Provide strategic advice and technical expertise to digital development initiatives and ecosystem‑building activities.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights that inform decision‑making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and partners to create impactful solutions and knowledge resources.
• Participate in forums, workshops, and engagement activities to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent advanced education in digital development, technology, innovation, policy or a related discipline.
• At least one year of professional experience in digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, or technology development.
• Strong understanding of emerging digital trends and the ability to translate complex topics into actionable recommendations.
