DevOps Engineer II

About the role

FNB is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to lead the strategic adoption and execution of DevOps practices across software development, testing, and IT operations. You will work in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, agility, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise automated CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software releases.
• Apply Lean principles to foster a culture of agility, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Champion automation, proactive monitoring and feedback‑driven processes to deliver scalable, resilient systems.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable projects with clear performance measures.
• Develop and maintain test environments, test cases, scripts and perform testing across the lifecycle.
• Deploy new modules, upgrades and fixes to production environments.
• Analyse data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Provide thought leadership, stay current on legislative changes and industry best practices.
