Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Technician to join our client site in Dalton. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality end‑user computing support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and acting as a trusted technology advisor for business users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line desktop support, handling hardware, software and network incidents.
• Maintain, repair and support desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals on‑site.
• Log, update and resolve tickets within SLA, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Perform basic Active Directory administration and support Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage Smart Hands activities and handle 3G/APN connectivity when required.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of desktop support or end‑user computing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience working in SLA‑driven environments with ticketing systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
