Key responsibilities

• Support the Nursing Manager in the effective management of nursing services.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing teams.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
• Assist with staff management, performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and clinical governance standards.
• Support the efficient management of resources and day‑to‑day nursing operations.
• Promote a positive, professional and patient‑centred healthcare environment.

Required profile

• Registered with SANC as a Professional/Registered Nurse.
• Relevant Nursing Management qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years’ nursing management experience.
• Previous experience in a senior nursing management role advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Sound knowledge of private hospital operations and clinical governance.
