Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading fintech company, is looking for a Delivery Manager to join their growing team in Cape Town. The Delivery Manager will oversee the seamless execution and delivery of IT projects, acting as both an IT Project Manager and Scrum Master.

Key responsibilities

• Plan projects, define detailed plans, assign tasks, estimate timelines and costs, and keep plans updated.
• Obtain signed NDAs with third parties and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication between clients, third parties, and internal staff, providing timely status updates.
• Facilitate stand‑up meetings, sprint planning, and manage Azure Boards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to boost development velocity.
• Conduct business change impact assessments and ensure SOPs or SLAs with third parties are created.
• Attend Change Advisory Board meetings, coordinate release planning, and oversee BETA testing and go‑live activities.
• Ensure testing is adequately covered and obtain sign‑off from third parties.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with third parties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT Project Management and Scrum Master roles.
• Fintech experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
• Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
