Delivery Assistant

About the role
The Delivery Assistant supports the efficient movement of goods from the delivery truck to customers and retail locations. You will work closely with drivers and store staff to ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Off‑load goods from the truck and deliver them to customers or shop shelves.
- Carry crates to the shop and return empty crates to the truck.
- Pack goods onto the receiving area or customer shelves according to delivery instructions.
- Count items during delivery to verify order accuracy.
- Assist the driver when reversing or maneuvering the vehicle in tight spaces.
Required profile
- Matric (high school) qualification.
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence and a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Ability to work on your feet, lift moderate loads and follow safety procedures.
