Delegate Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Delegate Acquisition Specialist will drive paid ticket sales and secure high‑value delegates for major international conferences across a global portfolio. Working remotely from South Africa, you will focus on phone‑based selling while supporting event delivery at host locations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to prospective delegates, prioritising direct phone communication.
• Pitch the value of high‑profile B2B events and close paid ticket sales.
• Achieve a minimum of 15 paid delegate registrations per month and exceed monthly targets.
• Track outreach activities, manage the sales pipeline and record closed registrations.
• Attend and support event delivery at global host cities as required, including international travel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delegate acquisition or event ticket sales, with a focus on selling paid tickets rather than free passes.
• Strong phone confidence, cold‑calling ability, objection handling and closing skills.
• Ability to execute a multi‑channel outreach strategy using phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and target‑oriented, with a focus on quality results.
• Willingness to work UK business hours (9 am–5 pm UK time) from South Africa.
