Debtors Supervisor – Finance Team Lead

About the role
The Debtors Supervisor will lead the debtors function for a reputable motor‑industry client in Mbombela. You will ensure accurate reporting, manage credit applications, and oversee the collection process while maintaining high standards of client service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify weekly and monthly debtors reports.
- Administer credit applications and assess client creditworthiness.
- Maintain professional liaison with clients and fleet merchants.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations and settlement discount preparations.
- Supervise a team of Debtors Clerks, handling general administration and filing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the debt collection cycle.
Required profile
- Matric Certificate with Mathematics and Accounting.
- Proven experience in debtors functions; prior Debtors Supervisor role is essential.
- Ability to work productively under pressure with strong time‑management skills.
Required skills
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
