Debtors Coordinator – Finance (Stellenbosch)

About the role

Our client, a large agricultural trading organisation with a turnover exceeding R25 billion, is seeking a Debtors Coordinator to join its finance team in Stellenbosch. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, service‑driven professional who enjoys handling high‑volume financial transactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispatch debtor statements.
• Reconcile debtor accounts and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Load and allocate incoming payments in the finance system.
• Follow up on outstanding payments with debtors.
• Liaise with internal departments regarding debtor balances.
• Forward Nedbank reports for financing purposes.
• Handle ad‑hoc debtor queries and coordinate with clients, consultants, and staff as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a financial or administrative role.
• Relevant qualification advantageous.
• Strong financial acumen and excellent client‑service orientation.
• Good planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently and handle high volumes.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
