Debtors Administrator

About the role

Fusion Recruitment is looking for a Debtors Administrator to join a well‑established company in Durban North. The role focuses on managing the full debtors function, ensuring accurate allocation of payments and timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end debtors process.
• Process and allocate customer payments.
• Perform debtor account reconciliations.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and collections.
• Resolve customer account queries.
• Prepare debtors reports and statements.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Assist with month‑end debtors procedures.
• Carry out general finance and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a Debtors or Accounts Receivable role.
• Strong background in collections, account reconciliation and payment allocation.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using an ERP or accounting system.

What we offer

• Salary range R 12 000 – R 18 000 per month.
