Dealmaker / Broker / Leasing Manager (Midrand)

About the role

The Dealmaker/Broker/Leasing Manager will drive business development across our commercial, logistics and warehousing portfolio. Based in Midrand, you will identify new clients, manage the leasing cycle and ensure successful deal closure while collaborating with legal, development and asset teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new clients for existing properties and new developments.
• Grow revenue by expanding the client base and securing profitable leasing opportunities.
• Optimise strategic relationships within the property and development industry to generate new business.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand opportunities, rights and available space.
• Ensure alignment with Development Rights Agreements and engage investment stakeholders on strategic deals.
• Work closely with legal, marketing, asset management and development teams to support business development objectives.
• Manage the leasing and development cycle from prospecting through to deal closure, including lease negotiations and client onboarding.
• Maintain accurate client information, complete vetting processes and ensure commercial viability of deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property stakeholders, joint‑venture partners, local authorities and other business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive client and prospect database using CRM, Matrix and public databases, and conduct regular canvassing activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial, logistics or warehousing property leasing.
• Strong network within the property and development sector.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close lease agreements.
• Understanding of relevant property and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent relationship‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
