Dealer Principle - National Talent Pool

About the role

Morgan Motor Group is looking for an energetic leader with a passion for the automotive industry to join its Dealer Principle position in Johannesburg. The role focuses on leading people, achieving group and OEM targets and driving business growth, while formulating a tactical strategy and delivery plans for the dealership to maximise efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies to drive dealership revenue, profitability and market share
• Achieve and exceed financial targets within the agreed budget
• Manage and control the cross-functional areas of the dealer
• Implement dealership practices in line with legal requirements, distributor and OEM South Africa guidelines
• Manage dealership assets such as cash flow, liquidity, stock, debtors and creditors
• Lead and develop dealer staff, and ensure customer acquisition and retention
• Set a brand example in line with franchise standards and monitor competitor intelligence
• Track performance to improve operational efficiency

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Dealer Principle
• Proven track record of leading a team to exceed car sales targets and achieving CSI standards
• Qualification in sales and/or marketing is an advantage
• Valid driver's licence and clear criminal record
